This frame may be a few inches too short for a standard twin mattress, ill be rechecking the measurements soon. This bedframe has lots of chippy paint and oxidation patina. I considered sealing it with wax or clear coat of polyacrylic, however I thought I would leave it to the new owner to decide whether they wanted to seal in all the aged and patinated goodness, or if they want to paint, or strip and restore. The bed rails don't quite go all the way into the slots but the frame is still plenty sturdy, and there are bits of the headboard and footboard that are a little bit bent out of shape, the worst of which I've tried to picture accurately. This bed has lots of wear that gives it an abundance of character, so make sure that kind of style is to your liking if you're going to purchase this bed.
