There are very small areas of finish loss here and there. There is a name and date written in permanent marker on the inside top of the lid. Once purchased, if you'd like, I can attempt to remove it. I cannot guarantee it will come off though.. However some may feel it adds to the nostalgia of the piece so I'm leaving it for now.
